This blog is a part of my photographic activities and I am writing it more for myself than for any specific group of readers. However, if anyone find my articles useful I am even more satisfied. The articles are based on my day to day observations, commission works, photojournalism and photo workshops that I have had recently started to run. That is why you can find here some tips and tutorials.
I can’t say that I am specialized in one field of photography. No, but what I can say is that my main interest is placed on portraits, photojournalism and fashion photography. I think this is because all this areas allow me to focus on people as a centre piece. There were always different aspects of the human nature that captured my attention which than I tried to show on my photographs. Human condition, relationships and diversity have always been my sources of inspiration.
Most of my photographs are very raw because I don’t want to get an attention to colours, fancy “photoshoping” or shocking scenes. Generally, I advocate a reduced usage of photo editing in post-processing to the absolute minimum. I believe that life and created by it authentic situations catch attention strong enough. But the authenticity is the key. I know that I can create any “photograph” I can imagine in Photoshop in just few hours but… I can’t see any value in it. I have tried hard to see it but with no luck. I want to connect the photograph to the real life because only this connection will add a value to them.
